HR Facilitator Luxury Tour Operator Tanzania

We are now in search for a HR Facilitator for one of the best luxury tour operators in Africa. The offices are based in Tanzania.

*ONLY TANZANIAN CITIZENS WILL BE CONSIDERED*

KEY OUTPUTS:

HR Statutory

 Have a strong foundation and working knowledge of labour law – specifically for Tanzania and Zanzibar (Knowledge of Mozambican labour law a plus)
 Excellent experience in managing cases at CMA and handling disciplinary issues effectively
 Know and understand the IR toolkit to enable you to train the Tanzanian team and provide advice when needed
 Support and Coordinate Disciplinary and Grievances procedures
 Familiarise yourself with the HR toolkit and Policies and Procedures to enable you to train the Tanzania Team on them
 Consolidate monthly HR reports for the region for HR central
 Strategic networking amongst other HR practitioners in the region and country to ensure company is current on all legislation

Recognition

 Working closely with lodges to motivate company awards
 Drive, support and coordinate the core Recognition Programmes.
 Supporting of Recognition celebrations and events in the region aligned to the company standard and way
 Host, coordinate and celebrate the regional company awards and the annual year end event for the region
 Effectively manage managers recognition programs

Recruitment

 Working closely with lodge managers to ensure the recruitment processes are followed
 Support with interviews and Tanzania focused recruitment

HR General

 Ensuring that all HR collateral are brand aligned
 Track and flag when work permits for Tanzania expire
 Do Exit Interviews for Senior Staff

Performance Management and training

 Support and work with respective management in the implementation, sustainability and maintenance of a

Performance Development system
 Tracking, measurement and analysis of Performance Appraisals
 Training all staff on performance management and leadership concepts
 Training all staff on IR and policies
 Coordinating training schedules between different departments

Drive Key HR Projects in the Region

 Championing and coordinating of Lodge cross-training and exchanges
 Champion company life programme for the region
 Champion, inform, coordinate and drive company internal inductions at office and lodges
 Relationship building with Directors and Managers in the region for effective understanding, support and implementation of projects

Tanzania Office Management

 Work closely with the Tanzania team to ensure the office is run smoothly – including general operations, maintenance etc.
 Support committees in terms of staff motivation and recognition
 Distribution of weekly Birthdays as well as updating the birthday list
 Basic budget management accounts experience so as to make budget conscious decisions
 Preparation of Tanzania junior staff contracts
 Management of Tanzania office and other lodge(s) staff files

Staff Management

The effective and comprehensive managing of the Tanzania Office team (3 staff members)

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Labour Law, HR or Industrial Psychology Qualification (Degree or Diploma)
2 Years’ experience in labour law, 2 years’ experience in HR Management
Advanced computer skills in:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint

Fluent Swahili and English (written and spoken)
